FLAVOURS FOOD FESTIVAL 2024 AT THE GLASS WORKS BARNSLEY

Flavours Food Festival Barnsley returns to The Glass Works for its third successive year in 2024!

Big and better than ever before, with over 70 stalls of street food, local food and drink producers, crafts and homeware, across four day with live music and entertainment for all the family.

The Flavours Food Festival truly offers something for everyone with food from all over the world and will be serving up food from all corners of the globe including Italy, Turkey, Greece, Japan, Mexico, Canada and more!

But it isn’t all about the food, with live festive music, 3 bars serving the finest beers and cocktails, and a fantastic range of artisan crafters, makers, artists and more. 

The festivities will run from Thursday 16th to Sunday 19th May with the following opening times:

Thursday 16 May: 10am to 6.30 pm

Friday 17 May: 10am to 7pm

Saturday 18 May: 10am to 8pm

Sunday 20 May: 10am to 5pm

TRAVELLING TO THE FLAVOURS FOOD FESTIVAL

With Flavours Food Festival taking place at The Glass Works, in the heart of Barnsley town centre, getting to and from the event couldn’t be easier. With 475 space car park, and excellent public transport links, have a stress-free journey every time.

By Car – Car parks across the town centre will operate as usual, but we expect them to be busy with limited numbers available. The closest town centre car parks are:

  • The Glass Works car park
  • The Alhambra Centre car park
  • Market Gate car park
  • The Seam (lower) car park
  • Graham Orchard’s car park
  • John Street car park

By bus – The Barnsley Interchange is just a short, two-minute stroll from The Glass Works, where convenient buses and coaches offer brilliant public transport links across Barnsley, the rest of South Yorkshire, and beyond. Get directions here.

By train – The Glass Works is ideally located near Barnsley’s fantastically connected train station. With regular services to Sheffield, Huddersfield, Leeds, Nottingham and more, as well as links to several outlying villages such as Darton, Wombwell, Elsecar, Chapeltown and Dodworth, the train is a great alternative to driving when coming to The Glass Works. Get directions here.
