THE BARNSLEY CHRISTMAS MARKET RETURNS TO THE GLASS WORKS THIS DECEMBER TO BRING THE FESTIVE CHEER BACK TO TOWN
Now entering it’s second year, the Barnsley Christmas Market will welcome over 50 festive stalls to The Glass Works Square from Thursday 5th to Sunday 8th December. From local food and drink producers to festive gifts, crafts and home ware, and the ever popular street food vendors, combining traditional Christmas fare with flavours and tastes from all over the world.

THE OPENING DAYS AND TIMES FOR THE BARNSLEY CHRISTMAS MARKET ARE:
Thursday 5th December: 11am – 5pm
Friday 6th December: 11am – 7pm
Saturday 7th December: 11am – 8pm
Sunday 8th December: 11am – 4pm

This year, The Glass Works Christmas Tipi will be open for the Christmas Market! Located next to the Tommy Taylor Memorial Bridge, they will be open for the duration of the market, serving up beers, cocktails, wines, Hot Chocolates, mulled wine and festive fun, what’s not to like!
We also have the popular Cocktail Pickers returning serving their fantastic array of fruity, tasty and unique cocktails all weekend long.

TRAVELLING AND PARKING IN BARNSLEY TOWN CENTRE THIS CHRISTMAS
If you’re heading to the Barnsley Christmas Market later this week, make sure to plan your journey, particularly if you’re heading into town on Saturday.
Car parks across the town centre will operate as usual, but we expect them to be busy with limited numbers available. The closest town centre car parks are:
