Ready for Action? RampUP is Coming to The Glass Works on 17 August

WE’RE AT THE HALFWAY STAGE OF THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS, BUT THERE’S STILL PLENTY OF TIME LEFT FOR YOUR CHILDREN TO GET INVOLVED IN FREE, FUN-FILLED ACTIVITIES BEFORE IT’S TIME TO HEAD BACK TO SCHOOL.

Join us in The Glass Works Square next Thursday 17 August from 11 – 4 for the return of RampUP! Following their success at Barnsley’s Big Weekend, RampUPprovides an opportunity for young people to be active and enjoy cycling and scooting for fun. The RampUP Zone is fully equipped with a range of multi-purpose, portable street ramps for all abilities. This session will include a main RampUP Zone as well as a balance bike area.

RampUp sessions are an exciting way to get children and young people inspired to cycle and scoot for ‘Active Travel’ choices. During the last summer term, the RampUP team delivered sessions to over 1200 children across 34 schools, now in the 4^th week of the holidays, over 1200 children have enjoyed the community RampUP sessions.
