Responsibilities:

– Oversee the daily operations of the front of house area, including the restaurant, bar, and host stand

– Ensure excellent customer service by training and supervising front of house staff

– Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service

– Manage reservations and seating arrangements to maximize capacity and customer satisfaction

– Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner

– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area

– Monitor inventory levels of supplies, such as menus, utensils, and condiments

– Implement and enforce food safety and hygiene standards

– Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve overall operations

Skills:

– Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, staff, and management

– Knowledge of restaurant operations, including front of house procedures and customer service standards

– Experience in supervising a team in a fast-paced environment

– Familiarity with kitchen operations and culinary terminology is a plus

– Understanding of hospitality industry trends and best practices

– Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and composure

– Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and inventory

Salary: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
